In light of COVID-19, we want to ensure the safety of our visitors, ferry crew, tour guides, and staff. We are following recommendations based off of the CDC, local and state laws.

Please do not visit Pigeon Key or take a guided tour if:
– You are experiencing recognizable symptoms of COVID-19 including a fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.
– You have been exposed to someone who has had COVID-19 (by testing or medical diagnosis) within the past 14 days.
– You are under a 14-day self-quarantine/self-monitoring guidance for any reason.

COVID-19 Guidelines:

Smaller Tour Sizes: Spots on the ferry boat will be limited and visitors will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Masks Are Required: We ask that you wear a masks while in our Visitor’s Center, on the ferry, and during portions of the tour when social distancing cannot be achieved. Hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations will be available to guests and highly recommended before and after you access our ferries.

Accessible Areas: You will have access to our on-island Museum, bathroom facilities, water fountain, tourist area, dock and beach area. Although we are a small 5-acre island, there are multiple buildings that are off-limits to visitors.

Guidelines and safety protocols related to COVID-19 are necessary to create a safe environment for all. We will have signage and CDC regulations on the island-grounds and in our Visitors Center and Gift Shop. The Pigeon Key Staff ask that you follow these guidelines and appreciate your understanding.
