From the early days of the Henry Flagler era to the growth of the island community, each room in our Florida Keys history museum tells a unique story through carefully preserved artifacts and exhibits.














Inside, you’ll find a wide variety of displays, including rare photographs, original tools and equipment, handwritten letters, and detailed portraits that bring the early 1900s to life. Visitors can explore exhibits that highlight the construction of the Overseas Railway, daily life in the workers’ quarters, and the island’s one-of-a-kind ecosystem. Our Florida Keys history museum is open seven days a week, from 9:00am to 4pm!
