The Pigeon Key Foundation was recently a part of the 3rd annual Putts For Paws Miniature Golf Tournament held by the SPCA. They have been holding this event in order to raise money for the care and adoption of their animals. The tournament was held at Boondocks Grille on April 7th and they had an amazing turnout! As participants, the foundation brought an invertebrate touch tank for guests to view and hold and educated visitors about our summer camp and historical tours that we offer on the island. Other activities that were held included a silent auction, a dog trick show, and several art booths.

This was Pigeon Key’s first year participating and we were beyond happy to be a part of this experience while helping the SPCA! We plan on returning next year to support them. This is only one of multiple outreach events The Pigeon Key Foundation will be attending this season. Next, we will be at the Mote Ocean Fest on Saturday, April 14th from 10 AM to 6 PM located at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary’s Eco-Discovery Center & Truman Waterfront Park in Key West. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
