With two week of summer camp down and two more to go; summer on Pigeon Key is zooming by! Campers from all over the world come to beautiful Pigeon Key each year to partake in our Marine Science Summer Camp! Each week is jam packed with water activities like underwater obstacle courses and a snorkel trip to Sombrero Reef. Through programs like Invertebrate Biodiversity and Squid Dissection campers are immersed in hands-on-learning.
Summer camp is always filled with games too! With activities like Pie-in-the-Face relay races, impromptu games of Knock-Out Basketball, and all camp Kickball; each camper is sure to find a favorite activity! Among campers our Underwater Obstacle Course competition is usually the favorite! Campers race through underwater tubes trying to swim faster and faster each round! The winner with the fastest time overall is crowned champion of Summer Camp! Camp is open to ages 8-16 and next years Summer Camp dates will be posted to our websites events calendar soon!
